You board a train and discover you have the choice of sitting next to the main character or another character in the book. With whom would you choose to talk? Why? What would you like to ask the character? What would you tell him or her?

I would not sit next to David. The boy would drive me insane!
ReplyDeleteif i had a choice to sit next to a charcter in the book it would be the mother because in the book it sounds like she gets most of the stress.
ReplyDeleteI would sit next to david because he seems funny and crazy!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe boy(David) would would annoy me the whole way there
ReplyDeleteI would prefer to sit next to he main character David. He would keep the trip interesting and me entertained. I would sympathize with his Mom, but I would probably be laughing at his antics as well.
ReplyDeleteNot sure I'd want to sit next to David, but if I did, I think I would talk to him and ask him how old he is and why he chooses to do the things he does. I think it would be fun to make him think about his actions and listen to his responses!
ReplyDeleteI would sit next to David's mom because I can relate! Being a mom of boys is so much fun!!!!
ReplyDeleteI would sit next to this person or child and try to talk to them about something that would keep them distracted. Often times people behave in a manner because they want to be understood. I would also make up some type of game that would keep the person guessing so that they will sit down and act appropriate.
ReplyDeleteI would not want to sit next to david because I would explode because he is annoying
ReplyDeleteJordyn I think you have 2 of them at your house. Must be interesting each day.
ReplyDeletedonna, you didn't feel that way when you were driving from alaska in a truck with 3 girls and a car sick cat !
ReplyDeleteI would sit next to David and have a good long talk with the lad
ReplyDeleteI would sit next to David just to find out how his mind works. Why he behaves that way.
ReplyDeleteI would ask David several questions: What do you see when you thing of baseball? or What do you think of when your mother sayes "Its bedtime". This guy has an active imagination and is typical boy for his age. Nothing wrong with this kid. He's all boy and it would be an awesome conversation.
There are so many Davids in the world. Otherwise it would be a boring world! There are also many Moms here tonight who can relate to the story!
ReplyDeleteI would post another message if it had spell check. Ha Ha , that was a joke..
